Synopsis

I just barely made it out of the Shadow Mountains alive, but I met a rag-tag group of allies along the way, giants and humans alike. I don’t think I would’ve survived the journey without them. But now I have this cursed book of Torin’s, and it’s got my name written in blood on the last page. I’m not sure what it means yet, but I know he’s after it. He might even know I have it. The time has come to build an army to wage war against him, just like everyone has been telling me all along. But who’s going to follow me? I’m just a girl who’s still trying to get hold of her own power. I’m getting used to it, though. And my magic is growing …
