Flight of the Magnutel

Synopsis

In the 37th century, humanity is clawing its way back from the ashes of a global war and the long Isolation Age. Space stations ring the Earth, the Moon and asteroids are being mined, and bases on Mars mark the first steps of a renewed civilization. But for Alfred Magnutel—president of Magnutel Mining and Transport—this fragile resurgence is nowhere near enough. His vision reaches far beyond the solar system. He dreams of the stars, and he intends to seize them, no matter the cost. The fourth Voyage Into the Unknown prequel tells the story of the origin of the Magnutels and how their awesome journey began--and of the flawed visionary who devoted his life to sending them to the stars.
