The Feast of St. Dionysus

Synopsis

Robert Silverberg's Feast of five tales will tantalize all science fiction appetites. The Jupiter Prize-winning story, set in the desert City of the Word of God, focuses on a guilt-ridden astronaut and mysterious Dionysian communal rites conducted by a Charles Manson-esque leader. The four other stories take us from mind trips to new galaxies to time warp jumps in the fourth dimension. The Feast of St. Dionysus is truly an epicurean collection of science fiction delight.
