Deep Currents

Synopsis

Summer, a time of peace and relaxation. A wonderful opportunity to go to a house on the lake and go swimming with your friends. That’s what Ichirin expected to happen, but nothing seems to quite be normal in her world. On her annual summer retreat, she finds that once again a creature from Japanese mythology has proven to be more than just a simple tale. Something lurks in the lake, and it’s hunting her down. She needs to rely on her closest friends and her spiritual guide, an ancient kami bound to help her with secrets of its own. It offers to unleash a new level of power, but what will the price be and how will it change her? Then again, in order to save the lives of those closest to her, does she have any choice?
