The VAR

Synopsis

The war was supposed to be simple. Follow orders. Complete the mission. Return to your family. Bruno has spent his life becoming the kind of soldier Valenreich needs—disciplined, lethal, and capable of making the shot when no one else can. Then he earns a place within the VAR: Valenreich Alpha Rangers. His new orders assign him with Unicorn Squad, a highly respected squad that is still carrying the scars of its fallen. Led by the battle-hardened Mavey and backed by Brainz, Frodo, and the dangerously unpredictable Icemaker, the squad doesn't need another soldier. They need someone they can trust, and Bruno isn't sure he's that person. But when a classified extraction sends Unicorn Squad deep into hostile territory to recover a defecting scientist, the mission uncovers something far more dangerous than enemy troops. Buried beneath the war is a secret surrounding Hasstrarganium—a new element capable of transforming technology, warfare, and the future of their entire civilization. And someone is willing to kill to keep the truth buried. As battle lines collapse and questions begin replacing orders, Bruno must decide where his loyalty truly lies: with the nation he was trained to serve, or with the soldiers fighting beside him. Because this war is bigger than territory and some truths are buried for a reason. is a military science-fiction adventure blending tactical combat, futuristic technology, dark humor, mystery, and the bonds forged between soldiers when survival depends on the person standing beside you.
