Synopsis

Earl Dumarest, space traveler, is stranded on the planet Zakym, a planet shared between humans--who rule during the day--and the alien Sungari--who rule during the night. Galactic Central Intelligence orders him to be removed from the planet, but Dumarest isn't ready to leave.
