Synopsis

A lost race tale from Australian science fiction pioneer John Filmore Sherry. Originally published in 1888, its fast-paced style keeps the reader hooked from the start. And the original events which make the protagonist find himself among the subterranean people sets it aside from the usual explorer adventure. After failed experiments, the protagonist is mistakenly buried alive; trying to escape he will find himself among anthropoids creatures living in caves, now they want him for eugenics reasons.
