Synopsis

Brought up in the Aden of the 1950s, Cass learns to absorb the ways of the Arab people. But when he returns in 1966 he is the enemy: a British soldier sent to quell the unrest caused by the British withdrawal. How can he fight for the land of his forebears against the friends of his childhood?
