Synopsis

Product Description Presents short mystery dramas. From School Library Journal Grade 9 Up-Conducted by Konstantin Krimets, the Moscow Symphony Orchestra sets the eerie tone for Little Evil Things IV with the overture "Little Evil." Although occasionally a little overpowering, the symphony music adds to the atmosphere of each of the five original horror stories written by Frank Macchia and Tracy London with narration by Jim McDonald, Rick Giovinazzo, Tracy London, Alan Brooks, and James Harper. "Lost" keeps listeners on the edge of their seats wondering if the death-row prisoner is actually suffering the torments of Hell or simply hallucinating. "Hazardous to Your Health" makes us keenly aware of being careful of what we wish for. "Infection" horrifies listeners with the prospect of an apparently harmless spot becoming a patient's worst nightmare. "In Your Head" examines the possibility that those apparently ordinary gray hairs might be something much more sinister. "The Violin's Curse" is a Russia folktale populated by gypsies, ancient curses, and ghosts longing for peace in the next life. Each of these adult-themed, slightly off center stories is reminiscent of those made popular by the original Outer Limits and Twilight Zone television programs. Lynda N.
