Synopsis

The world of 2053 is dominated by the rules of the stock market. The president of unified Earth, confident of solving its current problems with the planet Rillut, faces an organized attempt to topple his administration. Violence in all forms has long been outlawed, but anti administration elements, operating constitutionally from within the world directorate, threaten a return to mass violence as a means of social action and openly instigate lynch moves against Rillut aliens. Extremists on both sides come near to wrecking the economies of both worlds before a government- appointed investigator, demanded by the forces of sanity, steps into the picture.
