Nocturne Melody

Synopsis

"When Grey Stryder met Koda, a short tempered, trigger-happy assassin, he was a dying dark mage and the last Night Warden. His weapon, a sword possessed by a powerful god has slowed his death, but the sword demands blood and darkness in exchange for keeping him alive. Realizing his time is short, Grey is training Koda to follow in his footsteps to become the next Night Warden, except someone knows what Koda is and wants her removed, permanently. Now Grey must explore the depth of bond he has with his new weapon and his new partner. Will he surrender to his sword and step over the edge into darkness? Will Koda accept the training or will she abandon Grey and the Night Wardens? Together they must be the light in the shadow or lose it all."--Cover, page 4.
